Last #BurritoFriday of 2016

Today is the last Burrito Friday of 2016. In my opinion, this is one of the most important burrito days of the year. Make it a good one!

If you haven’t already seen my instagram account, you know that I love food, especially Mexican food. I post food pictures all the time. If you are into that sort of thing, please follow me.

Today I plan to go to one of my favorite burrito places and eat a cow tounge burrito. It’s going to be amazing. It isn’t a Mission Burrito, but I am far away from San Francisco.

FYI if you need burrito receipes, I recommend checking this “” article on the best burrito recipes. The mission burrito recipe on that article is pretty solid.

Discovered Gabriel Garzón-Montano

I was listening to NPR Music today and heard a song called ‘The Game’ by Gabriel Garzón-Montano, and instantly loved it. Here is the song:

He has quite the biography! I can’t believe I haven’t heard his music until today. Drake sampled his music in one of his songs, and he had opened for acts like Lenny Kravitz. You can see his soundcloud page here.

Listening to his album now, it’s pretty good!

Also he seems to be pretty awesome live! Here is a live version of ‘Keep on Running.’

I am soooo dot blog now

You may notice that I have a new primary domain, ! Isn’t it awesome?! I guess I should blog more.

My bad!

Add “blogging more” to my 2017 new year resolutions list.

FYI I love the commercial Matt is in for dotblog:

WordPress and the Law(suit) – Automattic’s Response to Legal Threats

Classic Paul. Hahahahaha.

The Old Fashioned

I was honored by the invite to give a talk at the Post Status Publish conference last Thursday. Thanks again to Krosgard for the invitation – it was a great event, that I hope was not bogged down too much by a late afternoon discussion of legal issues.

My original topic was “WordPress + the Law”, but I changed the title slightly to “WordPress + the Law(suit)”: I used some of the many lawsuits we see against Automattic as examples of the legal issues that hosts, users, developers working with WordPress might see.

At the beginning of my talk, I laid out three general principals for dealing with legal threats that we follow at Automattic. Now doing this short follow up post to flesh out those principles a bit more, since a few people asked about them after the talk.

NMEs top 100 best albums list

Currently trying to work through NME’s top 100 best albums list here.

Lots to go through. Some of their selections kinda had me confused, but that’s okay.

I’m keeping an open mind, but it’s hard to see an album I could love more than Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool. I love that album so much. If you haven’t heard it yet, and you like Radiohead, you should totally listen to it.

They also made an awesome video for the song ‘Daydreaming’.
